At Fredhopper we develop our next generation search engine and offer students the opportunity to do a graduation thesis internship in the areas of Data Mining and Predictive Analytics. You will be able to choose a topic from the various interesting projects available or suggest your own topic, and we can help you develop the proposal.

Along with your research you will be involved in customer projects and thus gain practical experience in E-commerce, Predictive Analytics, and Digital Marketing. Supported by experienced Fredhopper consultants and developers, you will work on complete projects and meet customers. This will allow you to see the whole process and the impact of your efforts. There is an excellent possibility for a full-time job beyond the internship.

The nature of the issues we’re working on requires a product services team that yields both excellent analytical and engineering skills. We welcome applications from talented students with good academic results and a hands-on approach.

Qualifications

• University Master’s student in Business Mathematics & Informatics, Computer Science, Information Sciences or equivalent
• Programming skills in Java
• Good knowledge of English language
• Experience with WEKA or R is a plus
