Position overview – eCommerce Consultant
The role of the Consulting team is to enable Fredhopper customers to get maximum value from our Products and Solutions. The team works in close co-operation with customers and implementation partners, with Fredhopper Account management and with Fredhopper Product Development.

Our Consultants play a pivotal role in our success. They not only implement our solutions with customers, but also serve as trusted advisors and eCommerce and Merchandising experts. Once our customers have started to use Fredhopper, we continue to engage with them on Functionality enhancements, Merchandising optimizations, Predictive Targeting recommendations and much more.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Fredhopper customer implementations in complex eCommerce environments
• Bring thought leadership to our customers on Targeting and Merchandising strategies
• Participate in the full project life-cycle, from pre-sales to implementation to optimizations
• Build long lasting relationships with Customers and Partners
• Hands-on involvement: deliver Trainings, explain Functionalities, assist on Installation and Configurations, integrate Data sources

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 3-6+ years experience in Professional Services roles
• Experience with main Linux/Unix/Windows operating systems and with .Net and Java based eCommerce platforms. Experience with Saas solutions
• Solid eCommerce experience on domains like Guided navigation, Merchandising, Targeting, Personalisation, Email marketing, SEO/SEA
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing, presentation, and relationship skills
